UK & European Admissions Consultancy Programme

The admission process for universities in the UK and Europe can be complex and intimidating. To ease the burden, BartyED has developed a unique and comprehensive UK & European Admissions Consultancy Programme that aids our students in navigating every aspect of their university applications.

The expert UK and Europe admissions consultants at BartyED work closely with applicants and families throughout Years 12 and 13, formulating university shortlists and assisting with the composition of admissions essays, like the UCAS personal statement, along with any other necessary requirements to make certain that each university application is of the highest possible quality.

Although the admissions process for tertiary education in the UK and Europe can be lengthy and stressful, with BartyED’s UK & European Admissions Consultancy Programme you are supported all the way.

Meetings and Preparation

At BartyED, we believe in holistic support for our students. For this reason, the admissions journey begins long before any UCAS application is drafted. Time is invested in shaping and developing each student’s unique profile in Year 12. This is achieved through two types of meetings that occur on a monthly basis: Strategy Meetings and Check-ins.

  • Strategy Meetings

60 minute Strategy Meetings will occur every two months, and will focus on having young learners take ownership of their university application process, developing a clear academic and extracurricular pathway and profile in advance of applications.

  • Check-in Meetings

Check-ins will occur every other month and will be 60 minutes in length. The purpose of Check-ins is to make certain that immediate academic goals are being met to properly assess the development of each applicant’s unique profile.

University Selection

As part of the UK & European Admissions Consultancy Programme, students and parents will work with our expert consultant to establish a shortlist of universities, given the profile trajectory and academic progress of each individual learner.

This will consist of eight universities, with a range of reach, three to four target universities, and safety options. Under our UK & European Admissions Consultancy Programme, BartyED’s admissions consultants will oversee the applications to all eight of these universities.

Application Preparation

Application preparation will commence in June of Year 12, during which time students will receive coaching in how to craft a piece of writing that conforms to the expectation of the UCAS and/or their chosen universities in Europe, while also highlighting the student’s genuine commitment to the subject.

Students will be directed on how best to structure and compose their UCAS personal statement and any other required application essays to ensure the highest quality writing possible.

Additionally, each student’s unique voice will be carefully cultivated to ensure their UCAS personal statement and any other application essays are both personal and stylistically mature.

Finally, before the UCAS submission date or submission date for applications to universities in Europe, BartyED’s consultants will carefully review each application to make certain no errors are present in their UCAS personal statements or other university admissions essays.

Interview Preparation & Admissions Tests

Preparation for interviews and admissions tests will begin in September of the application year and last through to the following January.

At this time, applicants will be coached on appropriate responses to questions, interview performance, and how best to dress for the occasion—all essential to a successful interview and application.

Additionally, students will receive comprehensive support to aid in navigating any admissions tests required of them.

Up to 8 hours of interview preparation or admissions test preparation may be provided under our bespoke UK & European Admissions Consultancy Programme.

Counseling & Support

At BartyED, we recognise that university applications, particularly the composition of the UCAS personal statement, can be stressful for the whole family. To help mitigate any worries that might arise, our admissions consultants offer counselling and support sessions.

Our consultants will check in regularly with students to ensure they are feeling confident and motivated, while parents will receive regular feedback on their child’s progress as required through attendance at Strategy Meetings.

Pricing

The pricing for BartyED’s UK & European Admissions Consultancy Programme is variable, and is based on the time at which the student enrols, with discounts available for early enrollment. For example, if students enrol after 1 February of Year 12, they will be offered a discounted price based on the pricing for the following academic year’s enrollment.
